***Attention Parents and Guardians***

The Florida Legislature has just approved a new scholarship program that promises to bring another 18,000 eager students to private school classrooms across the state. The Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES) will be like the existing Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), which is serving 100,512 low-income students this year and is intended to ultimately eliminate the waiting lists for these private learning options.

1. The qualifying income level is higher in the FES, serving students in households with incomes up to $77,250 (household of four). The FTC will remain at $66,950. Priority will be given to students whose incomes are below $46,637.

2. Students in the higher tiers of eligible income will no longer receive partial scholarships. All students will receive the full amount.

3. The FES will accept any new kindergartner and only students in higher grades who were in a Florida public school the prior year. The FTC will continue to accept new students in any grade no matter where they attended school the prior year.

Apply for the 2022-23 school year by visiting this website.

Students who are determined to be eligible for FES will be forwarded to DOE for scholarship payments.

Lake Rose Christian Academy has been educating K-12 students for 27+ years.
We are accredited by the Florida Council of Private Schools.
